Unto the College of Heralds, greetings.

I have been seeing a trend recently: new OSCAR accounts being created with a group officer email address. Please note that OSCAR accounts are PERSONAL accounts. Commentary from heralds comes from the herald, not the office. I have confirmed this with Rocket Herald (who, even though he’s our submission herald, also still has a personal account – the permissions get moved around, not the account).

In summary: I will not be validating any account that uses a ‘group officer’ email address or user name. If you created such an account, please create yourself a personal account and I will validate that.
