Reporting – Lochac College of Heralds

Group heralds are required by Kingdom Law to report on a quarterly basis. The expected schedule reporting may be found below.

Canton, College and incipient group heralds: reports due the 1st of January, April, July and October.
Baronial and Shire heralds: reports due 1st of February, May, August, and November.
Crux Deputies: reports due 1st of February and August.
Kingdom Principal Herald: reports due by the 15th of February, May, August, and November

That means that Baronial and Shire heralds have a month to incorporate the reports from their subordinates in Cantons and Colleges, then Crux Australis has a fortnight to incorporate those reports into their report to the Kingdom and the Laurel Sovereign of Arms.

List of Kingdom events held in your group during the last quarter where awards might have been received. This is a verification step so we can be sure Canon Herald has received the details. Details of upcoming Kingdom Events for the next quarter would also be appreciated, including if you have checked the event is published in Pegasus (a requirement for recognition of awards).

Submissions:

Sentence about submissions passed on to Rocket Herald during the last quarter (if known).

Consultations:

Sentence about consultations done, but not yet submitted, during the last quarter (if known).

Voice Heraldry:

Sentence about any voice heraldry work done during the last quarter.

Active Heralds:

List of all active heralds in the group, including if they are on the Roster of Heralds. If they’re not, encourage them to complete the Roster of Heralds Details Form.

Recommendations:

Is there anyone worthy of recognition that you would like to identify? If they are worthy of awards, remember them to the Crown or Barony (as appropriate). For heraldic promotions, a Macer should be encouraged to complete the Pursuivant Readiness Portfolio (but your recommendation is useful as additional evidence).
