Greetings unto the Kingdom from Crux Australis Principal Herald,

It is a herald’s duty to be the Voice of the Crown.  Sometimes it is
also a herald’s duty to be the Voice of the College of Heralds.

This month, the dutiful heralds of Darton Shire did the work of the
College in announcing that Kazimira Suchenko, Lady of the Silver
Pegasus, was promoted to the rank of Herald in the Lochac College of
Heralds, for her skill and service to heraldry.  My personal thanks and
congratulations to Lady Kazimira.

For those not intimately aware of the ranks of Lochac heraldry, heralds
(little h) begin at the rank of Macer, and through skill and service can
be promoted to Pursuivant and then Herald (big H).  Above the rank of
Herald is the great honour of Herald Extraordinary of which only two
have been named in our Kingdom.

This month also brings the good news of many successful registrations of
names and armory.

sable, a sheaf of swords and a dragon passant argent.

and a swan naiant within an orle argent.

Magnus Thorbjarnarson. Name and device. Pily bendy Or and gules, on a
bear rampant maintaining an axe sable a trefoil Or, a chief raguly
sable.

Sorcha le Breton. Name and device. Or, a dance sable surmounted by a
dragon gules, a chief sable.

elephant between four mullets of eight points argent.
