Unto the Kingdom of Lochac, belated greetings.

The festive season has seen December’s CAMEL delayed until this, the start of January. The LoAR that informs the bulk of each CAMEL was not available until this week, so it’s not entirely my fault. My apologies nonetheless.

This weekend is 12th Night, the coronation of our new King and Queen. Crown events loom large for heralds, as there is generally more ceremony at these. This is therefore a good time to remind people about how fun heralding can be – there’s a better view of proceedings too!

As with most things in the Society – we need to encourage more people to consider heralding. It doesn’t have to be for Court, it could be for tournaments or announcements. Ask yourself – how many people in your group do the heralding? If the number is only 1 or 2, this could be unsustainable in the future.
