Unto the Heralds and Populace of Lochac, greetings.

I promise I haven’t missed a month (really). There was no LoAR published in September, so you haven’t missed anything – promise! I am a little late in writing this missive, as I was away for a week meeting my new nephew and was therefore somewhat distracted. I would apologise, but he’s adorable so I’m not sorry. Sorry!

Time and workload seem to feature prominently at the moment. Sometimes it’s hard to find time to balance all the different demands on our time! I understand that, as it happens to me too. If you’re a group herald, remember to ask for help if you need it – you’re not meant to do everything alone! Do you have a deputy to share the load with? Are you training someone in heralding who can get some practice? Also if you need help from me, please let me know what I can do. Many hands make light work.
