New requirement for Lochac submissions
Unto the Lochac College of Heralds does Lord Gunther Boese, Rocket Herald, send greetings.
In a discussion with Sorle Crux yesterday I was informed of some disturbing happenings with heraldic submissions in Lochac. In short some consulting heralds have not been passing decisions by their clients. Some things are being registered with changes not being approved by clients. This is not acceptable and must stop. Because of this I am instituting some changes.
From now on I will not accept paper submissions that have not been signed by the client. I will also not accept electronic submissions that are not also CC’ d to the client. This covers changes to artwork or names from comments too. Please remember that as consulting heralds our job is to help our clients get heraldry they like, not what we like necessarily. If you can’t do this then you shouldn’t be a consulting herald.
I am sure most of you are good hard working heralds that try to please the client. So please don’t take this as an attack on you. If anyone has any issues with submission heraldry my door is always open and I want to hear from you.
Yours in service to Lochac
Gunther Rocket
