I would like to begin this letter with an apology for its lateness. I had hoped to write several weeks ago, but the pall of smoke over Politarchopolis has had rather the strong effect on my health, and this is the first I’ve had the wherewithal to sit down to write.

There was no letter in December as the September 2019 Letter of Acceptance and Returns (a reminder that the letters are named for when the decision meeting was held, not the publication after much proofreading) had no items for Lochac.

My apologies also to those waiting to hear from me on other matters, as I have been somewhat difficult to contact since the end of December. Ill-health makes for a poor correspondent.
