Congratulations all! As is often the case, not a single submission from Lochac was returned or bounced or otherwise made to feel dejected and rejected this month. Rocket Herald will be in touch with the official notifications, but your names and devices are yours as of now.
And special congratulations to Their Majesties, Felix and Eva, who now both have arms and names registered. For reference, His Majesty’s device is Per pale azure and gules, a chevron ermine between three ferrets rampant to sinister argent. Kingdom colours, and registered seven years ago! Do you think he knew where he might one day be sitting? Interesting!
In service, and with more to come shortly,

Addendum
To all subjects of Their Majesties, and Their Majesties themselves, glad tidings from Karl Faustus von Aachen, Crux Australis Principal Herald.
Cast your mind back to December of 2012. The Honourable Baron Domhnall na Moicheirghe, Rocket Herald, gathered up the comments and discussions he had solicited for fourteen items of heraldic paperwork. Names and devices had been commented on by the heralds of this kingdom and some of foreign realms. Domhnall Rocket packaged them up and sent them, by the electronic equivalent of overladen carrier pigeon, to the wider College of Arms of the Known World. The heralds of the College of Arms also weighed and examined all fourteen submissions, and made their own contributions to the state of knowledge about them. Then, in March of 2013, the Laurel King of Arms and his staff sat down and examined the mighty stack of paperwork and declared that the following names and devices were acceptable to the College and were the property of their bearers from now until Ragnarok:
Adelheit Endrißin. Name.
Eva von Danzig. Device. Per bend sinister rayonny gules and ermine, two squirrels respectant counterchanged.
Felix Arnett von Danzig. Name change from Rhodri ap Owen.
Giana della Mora. Name.
Hrefna Kveldulfsdottir. Name.
Jadwiga Wojciechowa. Device. Per pale argent and gules, a pale fusilly between four crosses of four lozenges counterchanged.
Lisette de La Rochelle. Name change from Seóna Dunliath ní Sheachnasaigh and device. Azure, a lion dormant argent and a bordure argent semy-de-lys azure.
Merewenne ingen Chonaill. Device. Per saltire gules and Or, two cauldrons Or and two oak leaves vert.
Thomasina Mariscotti. Device. Argent, a pale azure fretty argent between two heartsease flowers azure.
Þorleifr Þorgeirsson. Device. Vert, two goats combattant argent armed and a Thor’s hammer Or.
Ulfgeirr refskegg. Name and device. Gyronny arrondi Or and sable, a serpent in annulo gules.
William de Perham. Name.
Did you notice how there were fourteen submissions there? Seven names and seven devices. That’s right, not a single submission was rejected. Rocket chaperoned them through the process so well that all Laurel had to do was say “Oh, yes, Lochac. This will be easy then”. And so it was.
So what should I do with a deputy so skilled, so competent, so consummately talented in the arts of heraldic judgement? He’s already got a court barony and numerous awards. He’s widely hailed as a legend in his own tabard. Nobody who has heard me speak could fail to realise what a treasure he is. So what shall I do with him?
I’ll tell you what I did: I found him a successor!
After nearly three years of exemplary service, Domhnall Rocket is standing down. He’s not going away, partly because he couldn’t bear the sound of the whole College weeping if he did, but mostly because he still really loves heraldry. But he will get to have a bit of a break, at least until the next time I find a job that only he can do.
I have appointed Lady Thyri skjaldmær from Adora as the new Rocket Herald, not because she is the kingdom’s most experienced and accomplished book herald, but because she combines enthusiasm with patience, and has a remarkable ability to learn fast and well. With the aid of Baron Domhnall, she will take on this very complicated job, and do splendidly. I look forward to writing long messages praising her good works in the future. For now, please welcome her with joy and a certain amount of awe at her courage.
In service to the College, the Crown and the Kingdom,
: Karl Crux :
