CAMEL, February 2014

There are a few returns as well, but an unprecedented number of “Nice name!” and “Nice device!” comments from Laurel and his staff, which makes me proud.
Another thing that makes me proud is the release into the wild, a few days ago as I write this, of the new Lochac College of Heralds website. It includes all the content from the old site (which will be going dark and redirecting in the next couple of days) plus a lot of cool new stuff. Lord Alexander a la Fontayne, Coffyn Herald, has done a spectacular job copying everything over and then fixing all the errors he could find. Meanwhile, I put my programmer hat on and wrote a new page for the roster of heralds, so if you are a herald please take a look at it and make sure your information is up to date. And I have all the links to past CAMELs on there, so if you want to see how much better the Crux Australis Monthly Emailed (or Electronic) Letter was before the current numpty took over the job, that’s the place to find out.
You’ll also find there the latest instructions on submissions, including the long-awaited electronic submissions process. As of this moment it’s still experimental, so the rules are a little stricter and more finicky than they will be after Easter when it’s all live. So bear with us and be patient, and all will be well.
In service, since my laptop battery is running low,
